Tracey Stacey, 37, from Darlington, Co. Durham, has been with Phil for 14 years and they've been married for 4. “I fancied Phil the moment I met him and the sex was great. “I knew Phil couldn't have kids. We both wanted a family so we went through IVF together. “After the first attempt, I discovered I was pregnant. We were both thrilled but two months later I lost the baby. “After that, sex became an issue. I was so low and stressed; sex was the last thing on my mind. “I'd lost my drive and felt a failure with IVF. The turning point came when I realised that I didn't find Phil sexy any more. “We needed help. I was relieved when I first met the Pleasure Professor. I realised that the only people who mattered were Phil and I. “I started opening up and sharing my feelings. I told Phil how I was feeling and gradually began to realise that losing our baby wasn't my fault. “On the final night we had sex for the first time in over a year. It was amazing. I couldn't believe I'd left it so long. It was more than just a physical experience. I felt connected to Phil and had an incredible orgasm. “Louise brought us breakfast in bed the next day, but I sent her away. I wanted Phil for breakfast!” Phil Stacey, 39, says: “When Tracey lost her sex drive, I felt awful. I thought she didn't love me any more. A year and a half went past without us making love. “I felt I was letting Tracey down because I wasn't able to have kids. “When Tracey said she didn't find me sexually attractive any more I thought it was over. “The Pleasure Professor was our last hope. Louise was firm and fair. She talked a lot of sense. “I felt a bit embarrassed hugging a tree, but I could understand why we were doing it. Tracey and I were getting closer as a couple. When we had sex for the first time in a year, it was amazing. The sexual desire is back and we can't get enough of each other.” |
