'My bloke proposed at sex school'

Michelle Askey, 26, from Beaconside, Staffordshire, has been with Barry Roberts, 28, on and off for five and a half years.

“When Barry and I started going out, our sex life was brilliant. We were jumping into bed together every night. Then I became pregnant and our love life disintegrated. The four months later before our baby was born, I caught Barry in bed with another woman and we split up. Six months later we decided to give it another go for the sake of our daughter. I quickly became pregnant again and went off sex completely.

“Barry and I drifted apart. I was tired and had put on a lot of weight. I didn't feel very good about myself. I knew Barry was frustrated so once a month, I'd give in to make him happy but I never really enjoyed it.

“It wasn't until I saw the Pleasure Professor on Trisha that I realised I wanted to do something about it. Her techniques sounded a little strange, but I was desperate.

“When I met Louise she encouraged me to open up. I realised I was still angry with Barry for cheating. He said sorry and I began to trust him again. I felt silly the first time we had to shake our bodies on the beach but I just went for it and enjoyed it.

“The next day we went into the forest to hug trees. As I wrapped my arms around the trunk, Barry proposed and I accepted.

Barry Roberts, 29, says:
